The 881 and the 891 of the Department of Maritime Police received a three-week power vessel driving training at the Maritime Development and Training Center and the Taipei University of Marine Technology during the winter vacation of the 2021 academic year, and all students passed the license examination, which is really commendable.
The license of power vessel driver is the graduation threshold of the Department of Maritime Police. In the future work, no matter in inland river navigation, coastal patrol and shoal interception, it will be necessary to operate the power vessel. Therefore, the department cooperates with the above-mentioned units and universities to train the students of the department to drive power vessel, hoping to cultivate a group of excellent law enforcement officers with leadership skills.
In this training, epidemic prevention was maintained. Before class, we used alcohol to disinfect hands and measured the body temperature of students.We also wore masks throughout the class and actively implemented epidemic prevention measures.
